A limestone hill near Gombak, Selangor, Batu Caves comprises a series of caves with unique temples constructed within them. Its name comes from the Malay word ‘batu’, which means 'rock’. Deemed to be the home of Lord Murugan, this is home to visitors from all across the world who are more than prepared to scale its 272 steps.
